Candlestick Club

The Buxhall and District Candlestick Club was set up in the 1960’s by the Clovers, the Kendalls and the Greens. The club was set up to provide social events and coach excursions for older members of the community to places they may not be able to access their own.

Memorable trips in the past have included The Norfolk Broads, Maldon in Essex, the Lavender Fields in Norfolk, Tiptree Jam Factory and various seaside resorts.Social events are held in Buxhall Village Hall which include bingo, raffles, singersand speakers.Originally the Club was for residents over the age of 60 but now the club is open to anybody from Buxhall and its surrounding villages.  Everyone is welcome! The schedule for 2025 is currently being planned to include outings and entertainment at Buxhall Village Hall.
